KODAK RETINA II
Nr. 122 (1936-1937)

This was the first Retina with a range finder. It is the rarest and most valuable of all models nowadays.

Reason for this was the incredibly bad construction of the winding lever which even with a lot of caution and appropriate respect is hard to operate without failure. The model was immediately discontinued after only 3000-4000 cameras built, most of which ended up as spare parts or on the junkyard.

Both my camera were probably repaired by inexperienced users without proper tools. Witness to this are the scratch marks on the winding lever.
